Peavey Ultra Plus 120

Description

Second attempt at capturing this amp, this time with improved gain staging and an expanded eq range. The first attempt was clipping somewhere which caused a noticeable lack of dynamics, especially in the higher frequency range. Captures are of the Red Channel set to Loose and Medium resonance, with and without the Ultra Gain button (built in boost) engaged. No pedals or cabs baked in, as I prefer to keep my signal chain modular. I didn't have time to finish the Medium Resonance without Ultra gain, but here's what I have so far. Gear Used: Interface- Tascam Model 12 Reamp Box- Radial ProRMP Load Box- Suhr Reactive Load IR Also included are a few blends of Impulse Responses that I made of my current 3 favorite cabs using an SM57 and an SM7B that I think go really well with this amp. Cabs blended are: Peavey VTM m412 slant- 16 ohm Celestion G12T-75 from 1984 and 1991 Randall XL 412 slant- 8 ohm Celestion MESA Vintage 30 from 2001 KRANK Rev412 Straight- 16 ohm Eminence Legend V12. Enjoy!
