Koch Powertone II EL34

Description

I captured my Koch Powertone II EL34 without cab. Add your own IR. 1000 epochs in standard training. Boost captures with TS/Klon to get a tighter metal sound. Amp is a bit on the flubby side and all captures are bright. Decreasing is always easier than adding presence, in my opinion. Speaker Damping affects poweramp/cab interaction I think. Low is very flubby and High is tighter with more compressed mids. I created these with Humbuckers in mind. My reference IR was York Audio Kerry Wright Mix 1 or 7. But ML/Mikko v30 IRs work great. Vol= Channel Volume, P= Presence, B=Bass, M=Mids, T=Treble, Master = Master Volume Here are my settings: Koch Powertone II Ch3 B Adv. 1000 Ch3 Gain 10, Vol 4, Midshift-, P5.5, B1.5, M7, T3, Master 4, Damping Low, Marshall 1960BV as load, tapped DI 0,854V (with -10 Sinewave in DAW) = 10.84 dBu Koch Powertone II Ch3 Chords 1000 Ch3 Gain 10, Vol 4, Midshift-, P6, B2.8, M7, T4, Master 3.6, Damping High, Marshall 1960BV as load, tapped DI 0,854V (with -10 Sinewave in DAW) = 10.84 dBu
