The Tweed Deluxe amps of the 50's are the stuff that legends are made of. It has been utilized for fabled records by so many big names of Rock&Roll history that it is futile to try and list them, but names like Neil Young, Don Felder and Billy Gibbons should be at the top of the list. This small amp is deceptively versatile despite its simple controls and low wattage. In the studio it turns into a beast. It has a very organic, wooly, but detailed tone with beautiful cleans, edge of breakup and crunch tones. When diming it, it starts to get on the fuzzy side, but it is a beautiful ride with a lot of textures until you reach the point where it implodes into itself.
