MBS Deacy clone
Description
A clone of Brian Mays Deacy, built into a 50s intercom speaker with an alnico 4" speaker. The Deacy Amp is an electric guitar amplifier created in 1972 by Queen's bassist John Deacon, who is an electronics engineer by training. The amplifier circuit board from a Supersonic PR80 portable radio found in a builder's skip was fitted into a speaker cabinet and powered by a 9-volt battery. The amplifier had no volume or tone controls. MBS Deacy clone DI - Straight out from the speaker output. Play around with IRs with this one. MBS Deacy clone with speaker - Amp and speaker miced with a SM57. MBS Deacy treble boosted - Same as the DI, but with a germanium treble booster in front
