Langner DCP-1 Preamp & Marshall 1959 SLP MK II Poweramp [Hyper Accuracy]
Make and model
Wilcox DCP-2 & Marshall 1959 SLP MK II
Description
This set features captures of my Todd Wilcox DCP-2 (Todd Langner DCP-1 clone) preamp into a Marshall 1959 SLP MK II poweramp with a Metro zero loss fx loop and a depth control mod. The differences between the captures in this set are not as big as in most of my other capture sets, they are mainly variations of the same 5 or so basic tones that I dig the most out of the Langner Preamp. "Depth" denotes more deep low-end via increased depth knob on the Marshall poweramp. Complex captures, which are closer to the real amp, are denoted with a "C" suffix and standard captures are denoted with an "S" suffix. If you can't use complex captures, use the standard models instead. Very high quality 1200 epochs complex captures with very low ESR numbers. Made with the V3 Test Signal and the 0.11.0 trainer. Standard captures were trained on tonezone3000.com with 1000 epochs. Signal Chain: UA Apollo X8 -> Lehle P-Split III Reamp Box -> Langner DCP-1 Preamp -> Marshall SLP 1959 MK II EL34 Poweramp -> Suhr Reactive Load Signal Chain Calibration: +12.4 dBu (Calibration Metadata Included)
