Marshall JMP 2203
Description
This capture pack is based on a Marshall JMP 2203 from 1980 with freshly substituted Filter Caps (F&T) and vintage Telefunken EL34 poweramp tubes and mixed vintage preamp tubes. Some captures are meant to be used with a virtual or real EQ/ovedrive pedal in front to cut some bass before the guitar signal hits the amp model (the dark and norum captures are examples of those kind of captures), other captures have a more balanced EQ structure that doesn't require any pedal intervention. A third category of captures features real pedals in front of the amp, an SD-1 for Wylde type of tones and a Rat clone for the Nuno type of tones. Very high quality 2000 epochs standard and complex captures with very low ESR numbers. Made with the V3 Test Signal and the 0.8.1 trainer. The complex captures are closer to the real amp, in case you can't run them, I've also included very high quality standard captures. Signal Chain: UA Apollo X8 -> Walrus Audio Canvas Reamp Box ->Marshall JMP 2203 -> Suhr Reactive Load Signal Chain Calibration: +12.4 dBu
