Rivera M100 EL34

Description

This set features captures of the first channel (overdrive) of the Rivera M100 amplifier. It's a modded super lead type channel that still sounds more vintage than modern and with less gain than typical modern modded plexi type amps. The amp has a lot of bass reserves, which isn't really conducive for tight metal rhythms but is geared more towards fat singing lead lines. The M100 is particularly known for being used on Skid Row's "Slave to the Grind" album and on Saigon Kick albums. Apart from that, most Rivera amps were favorites among the LA studio musicians scene and the M100 is no exception. A superstrat with a JB type bridge pickup was used to dial these tones in. Most of the settings are taken directly from the official M100 manual, you can look them up here (page 5): https://joeydavilamusic.wordpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/m60-manual-11.pdf Complex captures, which are closer to the real amp, are denoted with a "C" suffix and standard captures are denoted with an "S" suffix. If you can't use complex captures, use the standard models instead. Very high quality 1500 epochs complex captures with very low ESR numbers. Made with the V3 Test Signal and the 0.11.0 trainer. Standard captures were trained on tonezone3000.com with 1000 epochs. Signal Chain: UA Apollo X8 -> Lehle P-Split III Reamp Box -> Rivera M100 -> Suhr Reactive Load Signal Chain Calibration: +12.4 dBu (Calibration Metadata Included)
