Make and model
ENGL Steve Morse Signature 100
Description
Most high gain models are boosted with The King In Yellow by Lichtlaerm Audio. I tried to do the lead channel justice by providing different useful eq combinations for the mid controls. Mid lo1 is a modern low mid voice and gets you very nice rhythm tones. Combined with hi1 you get sounds similar to a rectifier or fireball/powerball without the mid boost engaged. hi2 is voiced like a 5150/6505 or fireball/powerball with the mid boost engaged. Mid lo2 has a lot of lower mids and is less useful in a modern context, but I also provided 2 high gain models combined with hi2. With the tone button engaged this combination gives a very full solo tone which I also included with 2 models. The crunch channel also has a lot of mids but is very smooth in the top and less aggressive. With the tone button engaged you get a pretty scooped version. The clean channel is your standard ENGL high headroom clean with a bright switch. All in all a great amp.
