CAPI VP28
Description
Turn off the Gate slider before using these profiles. I used my Steinberg UR824 audio interface (18dBu = 0dBfs nominal) to capture the Line Input mode of one of my CAPI VP28 500 series preamp builds. I've provided 2 settings: Line Unity +12dB preamp gain with -12dB fader attenuation This is reminiscent of the signal flow of an API console channel in 500 series format. The signal passes through 3 transformers and 2 op amps. The preamp is configured with GAR2520 and GAR1731 op amps in the preamp and fader positions respectively.
