Make and model
Fulltone OCD
Description
This set contains 88 models of my OCD pedal, trained on both "Lite" (44x 'li_*' file) and "Feather" (44x 'fe_*' file) mode, to be even easier on the CPU load. I did 4 repeated sets of 11 captures where the pedal's "Drive" is ranging from 0 to max. Tone is set at 12 o'clock. While "Drive" increased each capture, the pedal's (output) volume is adjusted accordingly to result in unity volumelevels for a set. The OCD can be used as clean boost, light crunch, overdrive to full on distortion. The captures are done on 9 volts, 18 volts, pedal's LP (Low Peak) mode and pedal's HP (High Peak) mode. Why different voltages? - 9 volts: OCD compresses/saturates earlier. More compressed distortion on tap. - 18 volts: OCD has more headroom, more articulation, slightly more harmonics. Drive is slightly less compressed. HP vs LP mode? - HP: gives you more bottom end, increased overdriven sounds, and just a noticeable amount of upper mids (think Vox and Marshall). - LP: gives you all the accuracy to the original sound of your guitar and amp you could want, almost no coloration. Great for boosting clean sounds and finding tones different than those British amps (think Fender Blackface or Tweed-style). Of course as always free to download, play and enjoy!
