Marshall JCM800 2203

Description

These captures are made on my 1984 JCM800 2203 The amp has had a couple of mods, including a gain mod adding a little more pre-amp gain than stock versions. I dialled in the amp on the high input and did a set of captures increasing the pre-amp (gain) in 0.5 step increments. I've posted a set like this before but the reamp level was way lower (-3dBu) in my previous set. These updates models are calibrated for 11.6 dBu inputlevel. That may help for people knowing their interfaces dBu levels to compensate input in NAM to get an accurate representation of how the amp sounded when I captured it. For people not knowing their interface dBu input level this set should get in the ballpark of what I was capturing more easily, probably requiring less drastic level compensation in NAM to get accurate results. I referenced the captures using greenback IR's mostly. York Audio and also Ownhammer. I hope you enjoy these.
