1971 Fender Bassman

Description

Nam captures of my 1971 Fender Bassman. I captured the normal channel with many different vol and eq settings with and without the bright switch. I also made captures of the common trick of removing the V1 preamp tube and changing the V4 PI tube for more vib channel gain. Included also are captures with Fulltone Fulldrive 2 boost, MXR EQ pedal, and Fulltone '69 Fuzz. These are amp-only captures, but I have IRs of my 2x10 cab that I think work well with this amp: https://tonehunt.org/DahmanMusic/3209c177-8b49-4c04-a865-c0c151016503. My favorite way to mic this cab is with an R121 on cap of the bottom speaker, and an SM57 on the cone of the right speaker. I hope you like it! Captured using UA OX @24/48 through RME Fireface Converters at 600 epochs. August 2024
