Ceriatone Chupacabra 50W
Description
Found out that the I/O (XLR) ports on the St. Rock React:IR have an unintended behavior where they roll-off the high-end if the input knob into the unit (from the amp) isn't past a certain threshold. I decided to bypass the React:IR I/O completely and use its load portion by connecting it to a Behringer GI100 which then goes into the amp. The frequency response of the React:IR this way around follows that of a Mesa 4x12 OS cab SO close and goes toe-to-toe with the Suhr Reactive Load. Source: https://thegearforum.com/threads/st-rock-react-ir-frequency-response-on-xlr-ports-graphs-with-suhr-rl-mesa-4x12-os-cab.4652/ Decided to revisit this small pack just for the giggles. I will issue new "loadbox-to-cab" corrective EQ IRs as well that should be used going forward on any new models I put out. • Profile types: Direct (IR required) • Tubes: v1 Genalex Gold Lion, v2 JJ ECC803S, v3 JJ E83CC, 2 x EHX EL34 in poweramp • Signal chain: MOTU M4 -> SignalArt Reamp -> Amp -> Loadbox -> Motu M4 • Reamp chain calibrated for: 16 dBu • How to use the "calibration (dBu)" value: https://youtube.com/shorts/4rn4pXpNzg4?si=gRH-UWjWSxrFADvR
