Ceriatone King Kong 100W
Description
If you like my work & want to support it, you can do so here: https://paypal.me/2dorNAM Ceriatone King Kong 100W tube head into a St. Rock React:IR II reactive load. EQ-matched to the frequency response (speaker impedance) of the amp plugged into my Mesa 4x12 Oversized Straight cabinet. 34 direct (IR required) profiles covering "clean to mean & in between" tones. 20 profiles within this set are shot with the Legandary Tones Mr. Scary mod in v2 of the hi-gain channel. I did this instead of choosing the clipping diodes as it adds a more natural (less harsh) sound to the signal. Reamp chain details: • RME Fireface UCX II -> SignalArt reamp box -> Amp -> Loadbox -> RME Fireface UCX II • Calibrated for 13 dBu • Great video on how to use the calibration (dBu) value: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/4rn4pXpNzg4 All profiles have an ESR lower than the established 0.01 threshold so they are very faithful to the profiled gear. A slightly larger architecture was used to balance increased accuracy with a very minor bump in CPU usage. These are direct profiles so feel free to experiment with IRs of your choice.
