Sears 200G

Description

This is a capture pack of my first amplifier I got in 1989 from Sears Roebuck: a Sears 200G. It's 2w solid state with a 6" speaker in a particleboard cabinet. Super cheap, but sounds surprisingly good and usable! All captures are clean, since it never really distorts on its own (at least with single coils) but it actually has a decent overdriven tone with a boost in front of it. Recorded with the classic Royer 121 and SM57 combo. Converters: RME UCX II Reamp level: +13dBu Reamp box used: Radial ProRMP
