Ceriatone Molecular 50W

Description

If anybody is using any of my newer (from March 2024 & up) Ceriatone Molecular 50W profiles, you can use these "corrective EQ" IRs between the .nam profile and another IR. This will make the profile behave very close to being connected to any one of my Mesa cabs: • Mesa 2x12 Rectifier with T4416B Celestion V30 • Mesa 4x12 Oversized Straight Rectifier with T4335B Celestion V30 The Molecular has a negative feedback (NFB) pot called "Girth". I mark this as GRT in the profile name. For the Molecular, the IRs include several permutations of this dial for each "Loadbox->Cab" compensation. If the .nam profile has "GRT@05" in the name, use an IR that has "GRT@05" in the mame of the .wav file for maximum fidelity. So: if my Molecular .nam profile you're playing through was shot through the "Suhr RL" then load this IR between the profile and another IR of your choice: • [MOL50] Suhr-to-Mesa212-GRT@XY.wav • [MOL50] Suhr-to-Mesa412-GRT@XY.wav if my Molecular .nam profile you're playing through was shot through the "React:IR RL" then load this IR between the profile and another IR of your choice: • [MOL50] ReactIR-to-Mesa212-GRT@XY.wav • [MOL50] ReactIR-to-Mesa412-GRT@XY.wav Ex: • if the profile name is "[MOL50-GI100] CHR@rgt_GRT@05_ERA@rgt_EDG@rgt" then use "[MOL50] React-to-Mesa212-GRT@05.wav" or "[MOL50] React-to-Mesa412-GRT@05.wav" • if the profile name is "[MOL50-Suhr] CHR@rgt_GRT@05_ERA@rgt_EDG@rgt" then use "[MOL50] Suhr-to-Mesa212-GRT@05.wav" or "[MOL50] Suhr-to-Mesa412-GRT@05.wav" These should handle the adjustment well enough for all of my newer (March 2024 & up) profiles going through the Ceriatone Molecular 50W's power amp. As always, experiment & enjoy!
